London Borough of Ealing
The authority of Ealing LB collected 124, 274 tons of waste in the 2012/13 period. A little over 95, 000 tons of refuse for this period came from households. The rest were collected from public venues, administrative buildings, and local businesses.

ENFIELD
London Borough of Enfield
Enfield LB has recorded 131, 539 tons of collected waste during 2012/13. A single Enfield household produces about 600 kg of waste each year.

GREENWICH
London Borough of Greenwich
Greenwich is really trying to be “green” by recycling between 34 and 39 thousand tons of household waste per year. A single household in the area produces between 550 and 600 kg of refuse per year.

HACKNEY
London Borough of Hackney
The London Borough of Hackney produces between 110 and 114 thousand tons of waste each year. A single home in the area produces more than 550 kg of waste, the number has been gradually increasing over the last few years.

HAMMERSMITH & FULHAM
London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham
Hammersmith and Fulham LB has managed to successfully reduce its production of waste over the past few years. Each year the area contributes to London’s total waste production with over 55 thousand tons of household waste. A single home in the borough produces about 500 kg of refuse.

HARINGEY
London Borough of Haringey
The local authority has managed to put up for recycling 28, 505 tons of household waste in 2012/2013 which is 26% more compared to 2009/2010. A single Haringey household produces between 580 and 650 kg of waste per year.

HARROW
London Borough of Harrow
The London Borough of Harrow produces between 102 and 105 thousand tons of waste per year. About 90 thousand tons of refuse in the area come from local homes, and the authority is able to put up for recycling just between 39 and 43 thousand tons of that waste.

HAVERING
London Borough of Havering
A single household in Havering produces between 600 and 700 kg of refuse annually. The borough is able to recycle about 33, 910 tons of household waste and a small portion of non-household waste – about 3, 000 tons per year.

HILLINGDON
London Borough of Hillingdon
Last year the households of Hillingdon produced a little over 100, 000 tons of refuse, of which 43, 243 tons were recycled. Each year a single Hillingdon home produces approximately 550 kg of waste.

HOUNSLOW
London Borough of Hounslow
The London Brough of Hounslow is able to put up for recycling almost 32 thousand tons of household waste each year. Back in 2009/2010 the authority of Hounslow collected over 110, 000 tons of waste which is 11% more in comparison to the 2012/2013 period. A single household in the area produces approximately 650 kg of waste annually.

ISLINGTON
London Borough of Islington
Islington’s local authority is able to put up for recycling over 19 thousand tons of refuse each year along with with nearly 3 thousand tons of non-household origin. An Islington household produces about 450 kg of refuse annually.

KENSINGTON & CHELSEA
London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea contributes with over 80, 000 tons to London’s total amount of produced waste each year. Between 53 and 56 thousand tons come from local households.

KINGSTON UPON THAMES
London Borough of Kingston upon Thames
The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames produces over 60 thousand tons of waste each year. A household in the area produces nearly 500 kg annually. Kingston upon Thames produces over three thousand tons of non-household waste annually but is able to recycle about 2/3 of it.

LAMBETH
London Borough of Lambeth
About 85 to 90 thousands tons of refuse in Lambeth come from households each year. Annually a single households produces about 500 kg of waste.

LEWISHAM
London Borough of Lewisham
For the 2012/13 period the authority of Lewisham LB collected 132, 963 tons of waste. About 110, 390 tons came from households while the rest were collected mainly from public/administrative buildings and local businesses.

MERTON
London Borough of Merton
The London Borough of Merton produces between 81 and 85 thousand tons of waste each year. Between 67 and 71 thousand tons of refuse come from households. A regular household in the area produces nearly 550 kg of waste per year.

NEWHAM
London Borough of Newham
Newham produced nearly 115, 000 tons of waste for the period of 2012/13. This is 18% less compared to 2009/10 so there’s been a significant decrease of produced refuse. A single household in the borough produces between 750 and 850 kg of waste annually.

REDBRIDGE
London Borough of Redbridge
About 98, 542 tons of the refuse produced in the London Borough of Redbridge come from local households, 29 012 of which got recycled. A household in the area produces about 700 kg of refuse annually.

RICHMOND UPON THAMES
London Borough of Richmond upon Thames
The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames has been effectively decreasing its waste production over the last few years. Back in 2009/2010 the area produced a total of 93, 389 tons of refuse. Compared to 2012/2013 the area has produced 6% less waste – a total of 87, 932 tons.

SOUTHWARK
London Borough of Southwark
For the period of 2012/13 Southwark’s authority collected 111, 288 tons of refuse. This is approximately 6% less compared to 2009/10 when the total amount of collected waste was nearly 119, 000 tons. Most of last year’s collected refuse came from households – about 106, 492 tons.

SUTTON
London Borough of Sutton
The London Borough of Sutton has been slowly but gradually decreasing its production of household and non-household waste. The Council manages to put up for recycling about 28 thousand tons of household waste each year. A single Sutton home produces about 600 kg of refuse annually.

TOWER HAMLETS
London Borough of Tower Hamlets
The borough of Tower Hamlets contributes to London’s overall production of waste with over 100, 000 tons each year. During 2012/2013, the local authority managed to put for recycling 17, 659 tons of household waste and 2, 429 tons of non-household waste.

WALTHAM FOREST
London Borough of Waltham Forest
Each year about 100, 000 tons of waste come from local households, of which between 27 and 29 thousand tons are recycled. A single household in Waltham Forest produces about 700 kg of refuse per year.

WANDSWORTH
London Borough of Wandsworth
The authority of Wandsworth LB collected 104, 277 tons of waste for the period of 2012/2013. A single household in the area produces about 550 kg of waste annually. The borough is able to recycle between 22 and 24 thousand tons of waste each year.

WESTMINSTER
London Borough of Westminster
The borough is not doing so well in therm of recycling – only 23, 458 tons of waste are recycled while 154, 896 go to the landfill. The numbers for the period of 2012-13 reveal that a household in the area produces about 568 kg of waste annually.
